Classroom Books-Leveled Readers

When your child brings home a leveled reader that he/she read in class, please have your child read it again that night at home and return the book the following day.  We use these books in class and it is important that the books are returned daily.

Also, please be sure to check your child's Friday folder this week for a retelling story star to use at home when reading fiction text. Students can use this at home to recall story elements: characters, setting, events, connections, etc.  If you are interested in a retelling story star for non-fiction text please let me know and I will be glad to send it home as well.  Thank you!
