Thank you to all parents who have volunteered to either help out in our classroom, be a room parent, and/or prepare materials at home! If you are still interested in volunteering, please stop in the office to fill out a volunteer application. They have a new approval process and all volunteers must be approved again this school year. Once you are approved, please send in a note in your child's yellow daily folder to inform me that you have been approved. I will begin having volunteers when we track back in. I will create monthly volunteer schedules and send these home each month in your child's daily folder. We will definitely need volunteers during our work stations time which is from 1:10-2:10 each day. I will also be needing volunteers on Thursday and/or Friday afternoons from 12:30-2:00 to help prepare Friday folders and assist with work stations.
Room Parents: I am very excited to see that we have 5 mothers willing to serve as room parent this school year! I have decided to share the responsibility and divide room parents into quarters. The main responsibilty of our room moms will be to help organize and assist with special classroom projects and/or celebrations. These room moms will be contacting you to donate items requested as needed. Thank you in advance for being willing to send these items in when requested. I am looking forward to many fun learning experiences!
